Service Fees

FEE POLICY – STAND BY ME – PARENT ORDERS PROGRAM - July 2007

• Each adult contributes fees for services provided, unless other arrangements are made as stated in Court Orders.
• No fees are charged for children sessions
• People on low income and concession card holders pay minimal fees
• Fees to participate in Stand By Me are subsidised by funding from the Federal Government Attorney General’s Department and administered by the Family and Community Services Department
• No parent will be excluded from participating in Stand By Me due to inability to pay fees
• Fees will be charged if parents do not attend their appointments and do not notify the Service in advance that they will not be attending. A flat fee of $20.00 applies
• All fees include GST
• Fees must be paid promptly at the time of using the service. Receipts are issued to each parent as fees are paid.
• Agency policy stipulates that once a fee for group participation has been paid and people have commenced but not completed the program, no fee collection will be refunded
• Payment by CASH is preferred. However, if paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to “GordonCare for Children”.

• Employed by other – copy of wage slips from last three (3) months
• Self-employed- copy of your last tax return

• Both parents contribute fees for services provided, unless other arrangements are made, as stated in Court Orders.
• People on low income and concession card holders to pay minimal fee for services
• Fees to use the Children’s Contact Service are subsidised by funding from the Federal Government Attorney General’s Department and Family and Community Services
• GST has been calculated and applies only as indicated in the Fee Schedule below
• Fees must be paid promptly at the time of using the Service. Receipts are issued to each parent as fees are paid.
• Payment by CASH is preferred. However, if paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to “GordonCare for Children”

FEE SCHEDULE – GORDONCARE FOR CHILDREN – CHILDREN’S CONTACT SERVICES

COURT REPORTS AND MATTERS ARISING FROM SUBPEONA

• Writing of Court Reports

$285.00 minimum cost (for 3 hours)

• Any report taking more than three hours to complete will be charged at a rate of $95.00 per hour thereafter.
• The party requesting the Court Report will be responsible for payment and this payment is expected to be made before the report will be released.
• A copy of the report will be made available to all legal representatives; however, if your client specifically requests their own copy, they will be charged $10.00 for this. The $10.00 payment should be requested via the relevant Children’s Contact Service during office hours.

• Preparation and production of family files to the Court following Subpoena:

$50.00 per hour

• Attendance of Co-ordinator at Court following Subpoena:

$75.00 per hour

4 hour minimum – ($300.00 fee applies)

Reimbursement of travelling costs by taxi to the Court is required
