Parents Pack

At GordonCare, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional child focused Service through our Service for Separated Families, Parent Orders Program and our three Children’s Contact Services in Frankston, Mentone and Narre Warren.

We offer both facilitated (supervised) contact visits and changeover contact visits, fortnightly, monthly or as required. The Frankston and Mentone Children’s Contact Services are open each weekend, whilst Narre Warren is open fortnightly.

Our team consists of a variety of both male and female staff. Each staff member is experienced and qualified to work with families and children. The Contact Workers assist families and children over the weekend with contacts visits, whilst during the week our administrators and Coordinators are always available to assist families with enquiries or follow up with contacts visits.
In every situation, our primary objective is the wellbeing of the children using the Service.

We also offer the exceptional “Stand By Me” Parent Group – which is part of the Parent Orders Program (POP) and is aimed at helping separated parents build healthier relationships with their children. The program also offers individual work with parents and children. In addition the “THRIVE” children’s group is a fun support group for children experiencing family separation and divorce.

The Children’s Contact Service is totally child focused and therefore provides a fun, stimulating and safe environment for children to explore their relationship with their contact parent.
