Our programs aim to help children develop better relationships with both parents and extended family
members following separation and divorce.
Families who are experiencing difficulties around the time spent with their children following separation may apply for Services for Separated Families (SSF) programs. SSF comprises the Parent Orders Program (POP) program and Children’s Contact Service (CCS) program. The services complement one another. Families may access the POP without having to utilise the CCS. Also, after assessment the families may utilise the CCS without participation in POP.
The POP program provides therapeutic opportunities to discuss how to approach parenting post separation, so children are not caught in the middle of their parents disputes.
The CCS provides a venue and support for children to transition between members of their family or spend time with the non resident parent without being caught in their parent’s disputes.
